Sole Treadmill (F80) support case opened

There is a problem with emergency stop switch (magnetic disc) on my Sole F80 treadmill I bought in Feb 2007. The electronic component has 2 year warranty on it.

I call Sole customer support on March 12, 08. The person on phone took the serial number, date of purchase etc and told me that a technical support person will call soon.

Let's see what happens next.

Called Sole today. They promised to callback asap.

Got a call from Sole Technical Support today. They asked me to try to slap on the place where the safety button goes. It might release the switch.

If this doesn't fix the problem they will send a new console for the machine.

yesterday evening I tried slapping the emergency stop switch dock. It made the switch work intermittently. I will call Sole today to report this.

Called Sole again. They are going to send new CONSOLE for my F80 sole threadmill.

I should get it in 5 days.

Received the console 2 days ago. Good work by Sole. I will probably install it this weekend.
